I have been a patient for over 20 years and I have never had cause for complaint. Doctors, Nurses & staff have always most helpful.

On each occasion that I and my family have had various tests over the years at this surgery, we have found it difficult to get a copy of the actual results (e.g. actual LDL, HDL, triglycerides levels following a blood test). The staff have an attitude that such data about me is for the doctor's eyes only. After much persuasion I have usually managed to get them to grudginly print out a copy (for me to copy-type), but staff need to realise that the data belongs to the patient and they should have a default position of offering to share it. Emailing it to me in CSV format should be the norm these days.

Booking the time of an appointment has been a crucial improvement as well as being able to book on-line and do online repeat prescriptions

I would be devastated if for any reason I had to leave this surgery. The doctors here have looked after my wife since she was born and they have looked after me for nearly 50 years. Doctors have come and gone, but there is something about Cross Deep Surgery that seems to affect all the doctors who come to work there. Now, there is a set of new young (in the main) doctors who seem to keep up with clinical and technological advances so that repeat prescriptions may be ordered online with the prescription being delivered directly to the pharmacy of my choice, all I have to do is order from home and go to the pharmacy to collect. Whenever I have a medical problem, treatment choices are clearly explained (where applicable) and I feel that I have a say, going forward. Please, whatever it is that you have at Cross Deep Surgery, don't ever let it go away.

This was my first visit to the surgery and I found everyone very friendly and helpful. I have high blood pressure and quite correctly the surgery asked me to see a doctor before renewing the prescription I had been given by my previous doctor. The doctor took my blood pressure and gave general advice about the condition and agreed that I should carry on with the pills I had been taking. The appointment was conducted in a relaxed but professional way and I was happy with the outcome.
